I have served as the Deputy Head of Digital Innovation Hub at Hyundai Capital in Silicon Valley and worked as a Principal Product Manager - Technical at Amazon in Seattle, where I gained deep operational insights from various Silicon Valley companies and directly applied them in practice.
Leveraging this operational expertise, I successfully led a project at Amazon as a Single Threaded Leader, overseeing over 40 departments and involving more than 200 people. I have also developed a product that has become a global industry standard as part of the EMV specification.
Over the past 20 years, I have been actively involved in the startup ecosystem. In the UK, I founded the fintech startup Spreddit and in South Korea, I held leadership positions as CFO at FuturePlay and as CSO at Tera Fintech. I have also served as a mentor at Startupbootcamp in Singapore and as an advisor at growth private equity firm, FTV Capital based in San Francisco.
Before founding startups, I worked at the UK private equity firm Bridgepoint, where I was responsible for leveraged buyout (LBO) investments and portfolio management for mid-sized companies. I also contributed to the management of HobbyCraft, a UK arts and crafts company, as a Board Observer and supported the management team in the MBO (Management Buy-Out) process of Care UK, a publicly listed healthcare company, where I played a key role in crafting corporate strategy and financial planning.
Through these experiences, I have gained a deep understanding of both domestic and international startup management practices and environments. I also have a thorough grasp of the challenges that small and medium-sized enterprises face when adopting digital transformation, along with the operational difficulties they encounter. I am committed to offering systematic and scalable solutions that help companies navigate and overcome these challenges comprehensively.
